Laura Stacer - Recreation Director 673-2549 Fax: (989)-673-7310 carorecreation@centurytel.net The Village of Caro Parks and Recreation Department offers and is involved with a variety of programs, special events, and recreational facilities that are designed to improve the quality of life for residents of all ages. The 2005-2009 Caro Parks and Recreation Five Year Plan has been established to ensure that existing and planned parks & recreation facilities and programming meet the needs of our community. Striving to maintain and implement the recreation standards of our community is the Caro Parks and Recreation Committee and the parks and recreation staff. The Caro Parks and Recreation staff is comprised of one part-time park and recreation director, who is on staff year round; and a four part-time summer camp assistants, who are hired to develop and lead the summer programs. Committees Caro Parks and Recreation Committee: Meetings held every third Thursday of the month, 7pm at the Caro Municipal building Caro Area Trail Systems (CATS): Meetings held every second Thursday of the month at 7pm at the Caro Municipal building.
